NicoTests® Insurance Level Urine Tests

Instructions for your Insurance Level Urine Test:

The NicoTests® Insurance Level Cotinine/Nicotine Urine Test Device detects Cotinine in human urine.  Cotinine is a metabolite of nicotine. This test detects Cotinine at a cut-off concentration of 200 ng/mL. This is the standard level of detection used by most insurers, employers and medical groups. Typical detection is from eight hour after use of nicotine products up to five days depending on frequency and intensity of use.

Remove the NicoTests® Insurance Level Urine Test Device from the foil pack.

Take off the cap revealing the absorbent testing tip.

Collect a urine sample in a suitable cup. A Dixie cup is fine.

Immerse the testing tip vertically in the urine sample for at least 10 – 30 seconds. Do not allow the test tip to touch the urine collection cup. Only the absorbent tip should touch the specimen. 

Read at 5 minutes.

How to read your test results:

Note: There is no significance to the intensity of lines. Even a hint of a second line is definitely negative. For more detailed information please review the included package insert.
